helping my hometown in Scotland

I came across buckwheat noodles called "Zao-plateau Soba" at chinese supermarket. Zao is one of the beautiful mountains in Miyagi. I couldn't help taking it as I felt purchasing products from Miyagi could be a bit help for my hometown's economic recovery from the aftermath of earthquake. :) Is it really helping??? I HOPE it is!

Hope for Japan - amigurumi #30

I have been requested to make a pony from Ketie at Murphy Eventing.
I gave it a try and this is the result... I hope you like him and someone will adopt him soon.
I did not follow any particular pattern as usual, but I was strongly inspired by
this amazing horse made by an amigurumi artist Tomoko Takamori.
OH MY DEAR, they are so cute!!!

sailing team on the sea when the quake occurred on 11th of March 2011 survived but the massive power of tsunami floated their boats and destroyed boat house.

Background change

I have changed the background of the blog temporarily as I have been notified that some of you had a difficulties to view this blog.

I liked all the characters but it was somehow distracting to see the actual amigurumi.

I am still not convinced with this one though, so the background might change again in near future, but we are still the same and crocheting amigurumi!!
