helping my hometown in Scotland

I came across buckwheat noodles called "Zao-plateau Soba" at chinese supermarket. Zao is one of the beautiful mountains in Miyagi. I couldn't help taking it as I felt purchasing products from Miyagi could be a bit help for my hometown's economic recovery from the aftermath of earthquake. :) Is it really helping??? I HOPE it is!
