Regular Meeting in the sunshine

Amigurumi team had regular meeting at Medow's on 3rd of July, as it was such a lovely weather last weekend in Edinburgh! We had actually planed to meet up at cafe, but why not outside as the weather was so nice???
Satomi prepared beautiful sushi for us :-) It tasted sooooooooooooo gooooooooooooooood!!!! Honestly, I think her sushi is the best in Scotland.

We certainly enjoyed the sunshine, enjoyed the foods and wine, and of course enjoyed our annual "meeting."

But I must say that, at the same time, I felt kind of guilty that I was able to enjoy the beautiful weather while my nieces in Fukushima, Japan, where nuclear power plant had exploded, were restricted to play outside only for 20 minutes at school. They have to stay inside the house no matter how the weather is, in order to avoid being exposed to radiation.

I wish I could just pack this sunshine and air in Edinburgh into boxes and send them to children in Fukushima.

7月3日(日)、編みぐるみ隊の定期会合を開催しました。カフェで開催予定でしたが、あまりの天気の良さに、急遽、公園にて開催。satomiは重箱にお寿司を作ってきてくれました！彼女のお寿司はスコットランドで一番美味しい！！！！言い過ぎではありません。

この美しい天気、お寿司にワイン、そしてもちろん肝心の”会合”を楽しみました。

でも、ちょっと罪悪感も。福島に住む私の姪達は、外で遊ぶのを制限されており、どんなに天気が良くても家の中に閉じこもっていなければなりません。なのに、私だけ…

このエディンバラの太陽と空気を箱に詰めて、福島の子供達に届けられたらいいのにな。
